Whenever I read manga, it always takes me a minute to work out which direction I'm meant to read it in - whether it's been flipped so it goes left to right, if the panels are meant to be top to bottom, and so on. This holds the record for how long it took me to work out, seeming to make very little sense in any configuration.

I love how impressed Okosan is with his cake, in the cafe. Ignoring the madness around you and just enjoying it... it's the perfect way to experience this universe.

Honestly, reading the panels and speech bubbles in the correct order doesn't help as much as one would hope.

Given the subject matter, I think you'd have to have a mind about as unhinged as either the Mad Hatter or the folks who did the movie version of Revolutionary Girl Utena to make sense of it.


...Actually, given how much of an Alice in Wonderland and RGU fan I am, and how I'm still a bit "bwuh?" on the subject, that may not be unhinged enough.
