XKCD has officially blown my mind.

The comic is titled "Click and Drag" for good reason. The bottom panel is much, much larger than it initially appears. Just to give a frame of reference on its size: I opened the comic about 45 minutes ago, started scrolling around...and I think I've covered maybe a third of it before just calling it quits for the night.

I am absolutely impressed, amazed, and bewildered.

It reminds me of a game like Knytt Stories, or something - just exploring the landscape and discovering things. I thought I'd done well to explore all the way to the right, but then started again and it goes left equally as much - and I haven't even explored the underground tunnels yet...

I was just happily scrolling along, enjoying all the trees, and then suddenly HOLY SHIT A GIANT FUCKING FLYING JELLYFISH BACK UP BACK UP BACK UP.

Seriously, it's like Ecco the Dolphin; beautiful and terrifying all at once.

Heh, funny you should make that comparison; the moment I came across that my first thought was "When the hell did I wind up in the Tubes of Medusa?"

Almost never finished Tides of Time because of that level...in fact, come to think of it, I never did until earlier this month. o_O

Aahh, the Tubes of Medusa, where Nightmare Fuel and That One Level meet and have horrible, horrible offspring.

Good soundtrack, though.
