Pun fully intentional...the ads in this case are Arby's anti-Subway ads, focusing on nothing more than where the meat gets sliced.

I've seen the backworks of both places when they're getting fresh meat ready for sandwiches, and in both cases it arrives to the shop the same way: wrapped in plastic, sent to them by a central distributor.

The simple fact of the matter is this:
SUBWAY: Sliced, wrapped, shipped, unwrapped.
ARBY'S: Wrapped, shipped, unwrapped, sliced.
DIFFERENCE MADE: None whatsoever.

I may prefer Arby's over Subway, but I'm not a fan of bullshit advertising.

Anyway, just getting that off my chest.

My complaint is wider! This trend of such direct... competition in advertising was new to me in America - whether they're for television providers or fucking sandwiches, they are more like political attack adverts than anything else, aimed at imbeciles who are unable to interpret the message as meaningless. It's a very negative culture.

You're just jealous because your country didn't invent the idea of having an oafish fat kid bludgeon himself with a dead squirrel just to make the statement that the Nintendo Game Boy isn't in color.

Well, I'm vegetarian, anyway, so that makes that whole point doubly moot. (I tend to prefer Subway because it has more options I can actually eat, and probably healthier ones, too.)
