xaq_the_aereon5 months, numerous documents hunted down and downloaded, 1500 meters of red tape...all over a freakin' stomach issue from back in August and the $11,000+ hospital bill that got attached to it due to my lack of insurance.

An $11,000 bill on which I now owe a grand total of...

Date: 2/3/13 22:05 (UTC)But yeah, I still haven't worked out exactly what happened...I'm 85% sure it was due to a sub sandwich I had the day I got down here; I've never had any problem scarfing down a meatball sub from Subway, but the one I had that day was just off in so many ways. It was almost 2 months after that incident that I was even willing to go back into a Subway again.
Beyond that, it could have been a bad case of nerves/homesickness due to moving (could also explain my constant nausea in boot camp) or some pizza I had later that day (a few weeks ago I had another bout of vomiting brought on by the scent of pizza I'd bought for dinner the night before)..
