An adorable revelation

A little while ago, I found myself a bit curious as to the decision behind the names of Miru and Kaku, the adorable little science experiments/mascot characters.

After a bit of research, I found out what their names translated to:
Miru: Look for
Kaku: Hide

Ryuuji named them Hide and Seek. The rest of the lab wanted to get rid of them...and he gave them names based on a children's game.

In a weird(beaks) way, that's rather touching.
