I thought getting all the cards hidden throughout the stages in Freedom Planet would unlock something cool.
Nope. Just the individual "got all the cards in this stage" achievement. Couldn't even get a "got all the freaking cards in the game" one. :[

I loved the way that Final Dreadnought was split up into levels called "rounds", making it reminiscent of a fight, and some of those bosses were really creative. It's also as tough as nails - I feel I should actually tone the difficulty down from Normal if I want to see the game through twice more!

Date: 9/2/14 02:53 (UTC)Still, yeah, definitely have to agree about the boss designs. The fights with Prince Dail were pretty cool, especially the first one, but my favorite's still against Serpentine's panther-mech at the end of Fortune Night. Running boss fights are something I've always enjoyed, as are beastmecha, so this already has 2 elements I love. Add in the sense of teamwork between the 4 members of Team Lilac (Torque bringing Milla in to resupply you while Lilac and Carol tear things apart) and it's just plain awesome.
The soundtrack to it certainly doesn't hurt any either.
