While in class earlier this week, to help me focus on finals studies, I slipped into my usual habit of sketching…and, unsurprisingly, the subject of the day was Aereon Xaq. The top sketch shows a decidedly not-Pokemon Koopa Troopa zooming by, enjoying being plumber-punted across the landscape while Xaq tries to figure out where it came from.
The second one was an attempt to show him in a run, while also showing a few things I tweaked in his look. I tweaked the back legs a bit to be more like a canine’s, plus I gave him a little orange scarf…for no other reason than I wanted to give him a scarf. :D
The last pic is how far I’ve gotten on the design of the plush…which is to say I’ve decided on the scale of the image. Working out exactly how to do this is proving a little more difficult that I thought. Apparently constructing a stuffed animal is more difficult than constructing a table.
