xaq_the_aereonI must say this was the most uneventful Christmas in my life. No family, no friends, and all my presents were once again gotten in the past few weeks rather than today (hey, I think a new laptop and a Camaro that I didn't have to pay for count as presents! ;b ), save the stuff I went out and got myself last night after a brief rendevous with milady.
I have to admit, when a nice little Christmas bonus comes in after you've finished your Christmas shopping, you can be rather ridiculously nice to yourself for the holidays. ^^
Anyway, here's what I got for Christmas, for anyone who's curious to see what I waste my money on when it comes to m'self ^^;;
ZOIDS Model Kits to take up space on top of my dresser:
Liger ZERO Schneider (would've preferred the new Blade Liger, but oh well)
Holographic (i.e. the majority of the parts were translucent) Zaber Fang
Raynos
And my favorite "evil" Zoid, the Geno Breaker
(also got a couple of "Z-Builders", but since they took all of 2 minutes TOTAL to complete, I don't really count them. ;b )
Movies & games:
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
Final Fantasy X-2
Megaman X7
Yu-Gi-Oh! Worldwide Edition - Stairway to the Destined Duel
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelists of the Roses
Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsehound Kingdom (...I got robbed with this one...)
Ratchet & Clank...quite by accident (Seriously. The register I got YGO-DotR at had a copy of it sitting there, and the lady accidentally rang it up. But y'know, what the hell? I've heard it's pretty fun. ^^)
Melee weaponry:
An icescraper for my windshield that I swear HAD to have been designed for self-defense...it has the same length, balance, and weight as a freakin' German war hammer, AND the foam-cushioned handle practically begs to be held with both hands, perfect for delivering a skull-cracking blow. I don't see HOW this slipped past the armory...but, oh well, my car's nicely protected from the elements and highway bandits. ^^
Well, hope everyone had a happy holiday season...I know I did. ^^ (It helps setting your standards low sometimes, y'know?)
