OTAKON REPORT: Day 0

And WOW but things get off to an odd start, and before the con itself even starts to boot!

So yeah, I'm here in Baltimore, at the Holiday Inn, about a block and a half from where Otakon is going down. The group that I'm going with is also at the Holiday Inn.

ABOUT SIXTEEN MILES AWAY. O_O

So after getting in touch with my folks, they agreed to help me pay for a room for tonight, then I got online, found Kristen's number, got in touch with HER, found out my (latest) phenomenal phuck up, and made plans to meet up tomorrow.

So yeah...for tonight I'm up in a hotel room on my own.

More tomorrow after I spend some time at the con.
