Yesterday was rather dead around Sivanris as Tom was renovating his Resident Services tent, which meant no ABD access to get Nook Miles Tickets to go visit Mystery Islands. We weren't entirely short on stuff to do, though.

Yeah, that's right, Gulliver washed up on shore agai***THUNK** OW!
[I WARNED YOU]
Very funny. Anyway, as I was saying, Gulliver washed up on shore again, basically a repeat of the previous occasion. Last time it took me nearly half an hour to find all his communicator parts and get him on his way. This time it took all of 4 minutes.
The real treat came last night, though, as Blathers' sister Celeste came by.
[SUCH A CUTIE PIE!]
Indeed. <3 She told us about the meteor shower going on that night and how you could make a wish on falling stars, then gave us a recipe for a Star Wand using various-sized Star Fragments. As I confirmed this morning while checking the beach, each star wished upon leaves a Star Fragment of various sorts scattered along the shoreline, so making that Star Wand was a breeze. After making a wish on roughly 20 of the darn things (racking up 2 sets of Nook Miles) I called it a night.
Which brings us to all the fun that hit today: Tom's tent is now a full-fledged Resident Services Building, with new staff come to help him. Namely, fan-favorite Isabelle!

She is adorable, isn't she? :D
Additionally, Zipper the Bunny-Day Bunny (who looks like he may just be in a mascot outfit...or perhaps has enough of a zipper fetish to qualify as a Square Enix character) is visiting to spread the cheer of the not-Easter celebrations going on. And you know what that means.
[EGGS EVERYWHERE]
Like, seriously. The presents floating in the sky? Eggs. Shake down a tree? Eggs. Mine a rock? Eggs. Go fishing? Eggs. Stare into the eternal abyss? Eggs.
[WAIT WHAT]
Okay maybe not that last one. Moving on...
The arrival of Spring also means the normal trees have transformed into full-blown sakura blooms. Cliche, but definitely beautiful.
Not gonna lie, I'll kinda miss that little tent, but seeing how the island's coming along is just fantastic.
Now I just gotta work on my 348,000 Bell loan debt.
