Our own political system has become a tool of amusement for its decedant citizens, blissfully oblivious to the fact that they are quickly and all too efficiently paving their own road to destruction.

At least I won't be in a country where a man serving a double life sentence and a porn actress are running for office (something a coworker and I had been talking about earlier in the day...gods I wish I'd gotten the link from him.)

Heh, me too. I forget what sorts of candidates Britain has had, but Italy had a porn actress /in/ office.
