xaq_the_aereonThat's how long I've got until the Shonen Jump Championship, one of the higher-level Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments. And I've got one major problem...I'm not ready.
I promised I'd be there to my fellow GED teammates, but I don't know if any of my decks are up for the challenge...I know for a fact, though, that I certainly ain't.
Loss after loss after loss had taken a pretty heavy toll on my confidence. I say "had" because, to be honest, it's not really there anymore. I literally have no faith in my own abilities, and I'm fairly convinced that I'm cursed to rarely pull the card I need, and to have it be rendered useless if I do, as well as to make a completely boneheaded mistake at the most inopportune time.
And now, here I am, trying to prep myself to go up against the best players in the area.
I must be out of my mind.
(note: I'm nixing comments on this one because I don't want any of my more assholish friends making any "Heart of the Cards" jokes. I am not in the mood for having a hobby of mine made fun of right now, and would most likely kick you hard enough in the crotch to leave you crying piss for the rest of your life the next time I saw you if you were to make such a joke. ¿Comprendé?)
