xaq_the_aereonOkay, let me get this out of the way first so that nobody gets (or keeps) a wrong impression from the title:
I DID NOT WIN THE SJC SIDE EVENT TOURNAMENT.
So why am I so hyped up and proud of myself right now? Because of a few things.
1) Even though I didn't win, I went today with a 5-1 winning streak, and that one loss was during the FINALS. I MADE THE FREAKIN' FINALS!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D ( :D x 65528) OMFGSQUEAL!!!
2) Apparently, Nelly (an ex-girlfriend of mine) and Isa (the guy she broke up with a few weeks ago) are back together. For the most part I'm happy for them and wish them the best. ^_^ As for that twinge of jealousy/lust/every other sinful thought, they are being dealt with with...
3) ...THIS. I've had this idea in my head for a few days now, but I'd been in an Artist's Block slump. Apparently I'm finally out of it. Y4yz0rz! :D (For those who are confused, it's a Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Disk fashioned to look somewhat similar to Cloud Strife's Buster Sword from Final Fantasy 7. I didn't go with the Advent Children look because that thing's just a little too fancy for me to draw.)
4) I FINALLY found all the songs that were on this tape I had as a kid! (This is a project I've been working at for YEARS!) Once I can find this little sound snippet that my mom copied before each recording of "Tear Stained Letter" by Joel Sonnier (it also included a few recordings of "Set On You" by George Harrison, "Danger Zone" from Top Gun by Kenny Loggins, and a few tracks from the Ghostbusters and Footloose soundtracks....I'm guessing the soundbyte was off of one of Sonnier's albums), I will be able to rest in peace should I ever find my theory of immortality be proven wrong.
